Our Product Line
Infinite Enzymes produces cellulases for converting plant biomass into sugars for fermentation into ethanol or other biobased products. The cellulases are the most expensive technology still required for the biomass-to-ethanol process. The transgenic corn seed system is the most cost-effective and volume-permissive system available.
Exocellulase CBH I – Purified Enzyme
A recombinant cellobiohydrolase (commonly called an exocellulase) from Hypocrea jecorina.
Endoglucanase E1 – Purified Enzyme
A recombinant endoglucase from Acidothermus cellulolyticus (endo-1,4-β-D-glucanase).
Manganese Peroxidase MnP – Purified Enzyme
A recombinant peroxidase from Phanerochaete chrysosporium produced in corn seed.
Infinite Enzymes produces enzymes for industrial applications in a cost-effective corn seed production system. The materials produced by these enzymes can be feedstocks for many biobased products as well as for biofuels and research applications.
