Dr. Elizabeth Hood won the Woman of the Year award for the campus chapter, at a celebration honoring Jonesboro's Business and Professional Women. Mayor Harold Perrin declared this week as Business and Professional Women's week, and a celebration was held at Arkansas State University.
Dr. Elizabeth Hood was recognized at the AAEA (Arkansas Advanced Energy Association) for serving as chairperson of the Arkansas Advanced Energy Foundation for the past several years. She was actively involved in forming both the association and the foundation. Their annual meeting took place in Little Rock, AR.
